"The
Cove" |
| |
Our cabins are located only
seven miles from picturesque Cades Cove. The most visited
area of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This
beautiful 2,000 acre, sheltered valley is a mixture of
forests, meadows, and an outdoor museum of the lifestyles of
our early mountain settlers. Within the Cove lies an eleven
mile loop road where you may stop to explore historic
cabins, old country churches, and mills once inhabited by
early settlers. Along the loop road abundant wildlife such
as deer, bear, turkey, fox, and raccoon can frequently be
seen. Everyone can enjoy the Cove, whether by car, on foot,
by horseback, or bicycle. If your trip to the Smokies is in
the Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter, you will not want to
miss Cades Cove. |
